BETTER RED than .....!

If you are looking for a versatile, easy to like dry red wine for entertaining, may I suggest the premiere release of a Portugese table wine produced by the famous Dow port house - 2004 Vale do Bonfim Douro Reserva. Of course, this wine is not fortified although it is composed of 3 red varietals used for port making; 40% Touriga Franca, 40% Tinta Roriz and 20% Tinta Barroca. It proved to be a big winner at the tasting bar last Saturday when we highlighted other value wines to serve during the holiday season. Only $10.95 a bottle, but discounts to $9.30 a bottle for a case, or when combined with other wines for at least a 12 bottle purchase.
