Last Tango In..... Sacramento?

It's that time of year again. We hit the friendly skies and make the ultimate sacrifices for you.... Sure, who wouldn't prefer to be basking on a warm, white, fine sandy beach on some remote Caribbean island with the limited responsibility of sucking down dark rum drinks and smoking Cuban cigars (not Renee's choice!)? But, NO!....the daily grind of appointments are lined up for visits and tastings in Argentine and Chilean wineries nestled in the valleys and foothills stretching along the Andes range. Yup! Be assured, its a strenuous routine of early to bed and up at the crack of dawn. No rest for the weary! But we are foraging for you!

So this note is to remind you, that The Wine Consultant will be closed from January 1st until we return to reopen the store on February 1st.

One last thing! I will continue my end of year tradition of opening a few special bottles from the store's climatized cellar room....aka the infamous "fu room", translates to "fu--....you can't have any!"....or wines not for sale at this time. Noon to 4 pm. For customers outside the area.....it's not too late to catch a plane! I always feel obligated to open wines of greater value and acclaim when customers make surprise appearances from some distant locale. It's our way of saying thank you for your loyal support.
