2017 Sans Liege “The Offering” – Santa Barbara County
My goodness! What a bonanza! THE OFFERING!!! Consistently fabulous every vintage! All Santa Barbara county sourced fruit from a “who’s who” vineyard list, the blend is almost exactly the same as the 2016 vintage; 45% Grenache, 33% Syrah, 21% Mourvedre, 1% Viognier. A bounty of intensely expressive black cherry and plum fruit that is full and expansive on the palate – nuances revealed with airing; baking spices, anise, cigar box, olive, and cured meats.
