Very impressive 8,000 bottle debut from bio-dynamically/organically farmed 5 year old Chardonnay vines from a low yielding sandy site in the hills of Guadalupe Valle. After a 24 hour cold soak, the grapes are barrel fermented in French oak and aged on the lees for 4 months.
Deep golden yellow color, with steely, clean and bright. Floral aromas, citrus and delicate notes of roasted vanilla from the French oak. Subtle acidity that fills the mouth with fruit flavors, perfect balance. Brilliant sense of freshness promises cellaring potential.
