Champagne Bouquin-Dupont began in 1929 through the acquisition of Paul Gaston Emile Dupont, a vignoblle located on the land Avize “Grand Cru of the Côte des Blancs”. He began winemaking in 1934. Dominique Dupont now takes care of approximately 3 hectares in 4 grands crus villages of the Côte des Blancs. Champagne Bouquin-Dupont is prepared in a traditional family tradition, only from the family’s Chardonnay vineyards, and are aged exclusively in their cellars.
Beautiful aroma of white flowers, hazelnuts and slate. Mouthfeel is fresh, clean and pure, with crisp flavors of apples, pear, apricots, white grapefruit and baking spices. This stunning grower Champagne is 100% Chardonnay from 4 tiny Grand Cru vineyards all midslope in the Côte des Blancs from the 2010 (33%) and 2011 vintage (67%). These tiny parcels have been in the family since 1932 and total less than 4 hectares in the grand cru villages of Avize, Cramant, Oger and Mesnil sur Oger. Dosage is 6 g/l. Long, incredible finish.
