From Panzano’s Conca d’ Oro, the “golden basin”, considered a prime vineyard location of the Chianti Classico. This is a great vintage, but even if off years, always one of my favorites. Beguiling aromas are alone worth the price of admission. Excellent aging potential. Brilliant! 100% Sangiovese! Rarely found.

Petresco is born in the vineyard and for over twenty years is our historical and careful selection of Sangiovese grapes from a single vineyard placed in a top position compared to the other vineyards; the vineyard is located between 470/480 msl. Vinified in a natural way by spontaneous fermentation in cement vats, after the racking continues its elevation in small French oak barrels where it performs malo-lactic fermentation and then continues its refinement for about 24 months. Then it lays again in cement vats before being bottled and then long refined in the bottle.
