Highly allocated!  Champagne Jacquesson, based in the Dizy region of Champagne, France, was founded in Châlons-sur-Marne in 1798 by Memmie Jacquesson.

Under the stewardship of the Chiquet family in the early 2000s, the renowned
“700-Series” cuvées were introduced.  Each year, a unique blend captures the
spirit of the vintage and is balanced with the house’s reserve wines. The “700-
Series” cuvées represent more than 96% of total production and are released on
two occasions: initially after four years on the fine lees, and then a second time
after up to nine years on the fine lees (Dégorgement Tardif).

In 2023, Artémis Domaines acquired Champagne Jacquesson, with a mission
to continue the legacy of producing exceptional Champagnes that embody
craftsmanship and terroir.

Cuvée 747 is a blend of 45% Chardonnay, 31% Pinot Noir, 24% Pinot Meunier based on approximately 75% of the 2019 vintage.  Four years en tirage with a dosage of 1.5 g/l.  The harvest came from Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers, Champillon and 25% from Avize and Oiry. Winter was mild and dry. Spring frost struck three times and mainly caused damage to our Chardonnay vines, hence the predominance of the Pinots in this cuvée. Summer was dry with heat waves that caused sunburn. We harvested a very high-quality crop with moderate yields from the 12th to 22nd of September. The wines are structured, balanced, long and complex. Respectful soil management and plant cultivation methods were implemented with the aim of expressing plot diversity.Vinification and ageing occurred in large wooden vats on the lees without either filtration or fining. The nose evokes citrus fruits, pastries and brioche notes. The palate is intense, full with a nice mineral tension and a very long vibrant finish.
