While a special bottling of Red & Green Zin continues to be the house red wine for Chez Panisse in Berkeley for the last 35 years, we offer you this lovely rendition od the Chiles Canyon Vineyards.  

Not to be confused with the pricier Chiles Mill Vineyard, situated at 800-1000 feet above sea level and named after the historic Chiles Grist Mill — the first flour mill in Northern California, which had been built by Joseph B. Chiles in 1845.  Chiles Canyon Vineyards is a blend of Zinfandel from the estate’s three terraced mountain vineyards (Chiles Mill, Catacula, & Tip Top Vineyards) overlooking Chiles Canyon. Juicy and approachable, this wine features all the hallmark aromas and flavors of our estate – bright cherries, pomegranate, and laurel bay among others.
