Description

Vermouth Etrusco Nero is produced from the blending of fine Fertuna red wine from Maremma, flavored with natural extracts of herbs and spice originating also in this coastal area.  In accordance with the old recipe, the infusion of all ingredients have to maintain maceration for more than 45 days.  An outstanding elixir of spices and herbs, balsamic and resin notes with an embracing warmth.  More than 2 months slow maturation in steel vats enables the natural sedimentation of impurities.  Filtering and clarification, carried out without fining agents or clays, preserve the organoleptic characteristics, insuring a smooth elegance on the palate and a compelling olfactory impact. Alc 18%.

Perfect with soda water and an orange twist.  And I can speak from experience, this vermouth makes the BEST Manhattan cocktail ever!  Anticipating a splendid Negroni.  Would also be so good for “Italian Cherries Jubilee”.  Soak pitted ripe cherries in a cup of vermouth for three or four days……heat cherries and maceration liquid in a sauce pan and reduce with a little unsalted butter to temper the acidity.  Pour over vanilla ice cream. ⚡👍🏼⚡
