Description
This historic family run Crémant house was established in 1926 and is the region’s reference point for character-driven and complex Crémant de Bourgogne wines.
A cuvee of 57% Chardonnay, 32% Pinot Noir and 11% Aligoté.
Practicing sustainable viticulture, the fruit is hand-harvested from various high-quality 20+ year old vineyards in the Cote Chalonnaise, Cote de Beaune and Cote de Nuits. Gently pressed and cold settled. Fermented on indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless tanks. Aged in bottle for two years, on average. Dosage 5.6 grams/L. Disgorgment date February 1, 2024.
Wines are aged in the house’s modern cellars, built in the early 2000s, in Rully. This climatized building, with cellars dug into solid rock some 500 feet underground, provides the perfectly cool and consistent conditions for aging Crémant de Bourgogne.
